The next morning Ryo was once again awoken by the huffs of Sorhon who seemed to be having bad dreams, raising her head to look at him she noted that being close to him was the only way anyone could even tell if there was something wrong. Lowering her muzzle Ryo softly nuzzled his neck till his deep breaths stopped, looking over his large body so close to hers she couldn’t help but feel safe next to him, like not only would nothing hurt her but he wouldn’t either. Sighing softly she turned to the sun filled clearing outside of the den, to her fathers request she had to make Sorhon feel conferrable so she spent the last half of her day finding weeds grass and moss to make a bedding for them both by the cave entrance so he could look out. Ryo liked the view laying there and had no protest to moving her bed there, her only protest was the fact she had to stay with Sorhon and so close, only mates where suppose to lay so close to each other unless a it was a healer, and that was a job Ryo didn’t want. Looking back to Sorhon she smiled a bit at his calm sleeping form his nose was now bared in her side and not even a peace of grass could get between the two.

”Looks like you two are getting close, I thought your Father promised you to Kumar?” Ryo grinned at Kamaria’s voice entering the den. ”Kam!” Ryo announced. Kamaria quickly nodded then went and found a spot next to Ryo to lay down. ”You didn’t show up yesterday so I came to see if everything was alright.” She muttered. ”Sorry something came up.” Ryo announced”. ”So what’s the story?” Kamaria asked. ”Well, the other night I was sitting outside and I was watching the stars… You know the stuff I do a lot at night.” Ryo began. Sorhon groaned and moved his head a bit his ear perking and his body trying to get closer witch was imposable. Ryo glanced at him but his eyes weren’t able to see so she shrugged it off as another bad memory in his dreams. ”When I was out there Sorhon and me got into a fight about mother. I don’t know what came over me, I just got so angry with him… I kind of… I accidentally bit into his back, Artica said I almost killed him.. I just.. I don’t know why I did it.” Ryo explained. Kamaria laughed. ”How do you accidentally bit into someone?” Kam laughed. ”I didn’t mean to bite him, I was.. I don’t even remember it, its like a blur of fur. But I still can taste his blood in my mouth… it was horrible Kam!” Ryo admitted. ”Well as long as you are taking care of him. I see you two are getting pretty close.” Kam grinned teasing. ”No way he’s a jerk!” Ryo growled flicking her ears back. ”He’s always been a sweet heart to me.” Kam answered. ”Then I guess it is only special to me.” Ryo groaned. ”Ryo you shouldn’t be so hard on him.” Kam muttered. ”Wait, you haven’t hung out with him how do you even know what he is like!” Ryo announced turning to her. ”Ryo.. Me and Sorhon have meet up quite a few times since we first meet.” Kam told her.

Ryo suddenly felt a chill of jealousy her heart began to kick hard agents her chest in a wave of pain. ”Oh, I didn’t know that.” Ryo muttered trying not to show her true anger. Kamaria picking up on it sighed and stood. ”I don’t like him if that is what your worried about, but I do have to go, I need to begin my hunt for food.” She announced giving a quick nuzzle to Ryo and starring to walk from the cave. ”Kam. I’m sorry, I don’t know what has come over me lately.” Ryo admitted. Kamaria nodded then keep walking. Ryo watched in silence until Kamaria disappeared into the forest, then her eyes moved back to Sorhon who still lay close to her his face hidden, with a soft sigh she stood and walked out of the cave not seeing Sorhon raise his head to look at her. Ryo trotted down the hill to Kumar’s den where her Father said he would be still talking to his parents about the mating. Ryo quickly made her way into the dark drafty den and found her father lying in front of Kumar’s parents. She motioned to her father she wished to speak to him outside apologized for the interruption and lead the way out into the clearing. When she turned she was meet with her fathers angry face until she softly sighed and sat down. ”Father I want the responsibility of Alpha pack leader, but I don’t want to mate with Kumar.. But, to be the leader I need to be I need to learn to make sacrifices.” Ryo gulped back the tears and sat up tall flicking her tail in annoyed way she calmly began to speak again. ”I shall agree to be Kumar’s Mate.” She announced.
